Our focus is to ensure that you are completely satisfied with our services. If for any reason you are not happy, please contact us within 24 hours and we will have a cleaner take care of whatever concerns you have for free. Please keep in mind that our hourly and post-construction cleaning services are not covered.

For 1 bedroom homes, we will send one cleaner. For two or more rooms, we will have a team of two-three cleaners.

We understand that some pets might get anxious or scared of a stranger in their home, not to mention the loud noise from vacuuming. Any anxious pets will need to be secured before we arrive to ensure we can do our job safely.

We do our best to treat your home like we would our own. With that being said, if an accident occurs, we will contact you asap and do everything we can to fix or replace the item.

If your scheduled cleaning falls on a statutory holiday, we will contact you to reschedule for another date and time that works for you.

Unfortunately, we currently do not offer gift certificates.

How we enter your home will be entirely up to you. 

  • You can provide us with a key.
  • You can leave a key under a plant pot by your door.
  • You can leave a key with front desk security.
  • You can place the key in a lockbox and provide us with the code.
  • You can give us a fob to the garage.

We would require a minimum of 24 hours in advance for rescheduling. Please call, message or email us, and we will gladly accommodate your request.

Our service fees are calculated by the amount of time we spend cleaning your space.

 

Our estimates are based on several factors:

1. Size of the property ( # of Bedrooms, # bathrooms, Sq ft ..etc)

2. Type of cleaning (deep or standard cleaning).

3. Add-ons (cleaning inside the oven, windows..etc.)

It’s essential to have someone you know and trust cleaning your home. We do our best to schedule the same cleaner every time, but we cannot always guarantee. That said, All our Urban Dusters cleaners go through the same rigorous training and follow the same cleaning checklist.

The best way to prepare for your Urban Dusters cleaning is to straighten up and remove clutter. This will allow our cleaners to work faster and more efficiently.

Every cleaning tool and supply is included with your booking, except for a vacuum cleaner – which we can provide at an additional cost of $20. If you are scheduling a post-renovation or move-in/move-out cleaning service, then the price includes the use of our vacuum as well. If you prefer to have us utilize products and supplies provided by you, please let us know at the time of booking so that we may make arrangements in advance.

Urban Dusters offers cleaning services in the following areas: Toronto, Etobicoke, North York, and Vaughan.

We sure are! We would never do business if we weren’t. To protect your home we are fully insured and our cleaners are also bonded. If you wish we can provide proof of insurance.

Nope. We want to earn your business every time we visit and not have a contracted relationship. Payment will be taken after every visit.

For Residential, Deep, and Move-In/Move-Out cleaning, payment is taken online when you book your service. The secure online payment system we use is Stripe. For ongoing cleaning, you will pay for the first cleaning at checkout. After that, we will email you to confirm the details and frequency of the cleaning. We will charge your credit card on file for each visit.

For other services such as Airbnb, commercial cleaning, etc., you can fill out our online quote form and receive an estimate of the cost of the service. From there, you can quickly pay for your service.  Payment is accepted through Stripe, bank transfer, or certified check.

Unfortunately, we do not provide exterior cleaning services. Our primary focus is to provide our customers with the best possible interior cleaning services.

You can cancel your appointment 48 hours before your scheduled cleaning. You can cancel by contacting us via call, chat or email, and we will be more than happy to help you with your request. Please note that if cancellation is requested after the 48-hour scheduled cleaning, you may incur a cancellation fee.

We will clean under small objects and light furniture. We clean under heavy furniture (beds and sofas), however, we will not move heavy furniture. We would hate to scratch your floors from attempting to move these items. Feel free to move any furniture on the day of cleaning and send us a message with instructions to give that area a proper cleaning.

Unfortunately, no. We only complete interior window cleaning.

The choice is yours. You can be home while we clean and we will do our best not to disturb you as best we can. Please note that cleaners generally work more efficiently when the house is empty of people and pets.

When booking, you will get the option indicating that parking is not available. Please note that any parking costs incurred will be billed on top of the service.

We take all the following precautions and measures to fight against the spread of germs and viruses.

  • Disinfecting equipment in between each job.
  • Following physical distancing in your home if anyone is home.
  • Washing hands regularly

Our move-in/move-out cleaning is our most detailed cleaning. We do our very best to arrive at the scheduled time. Please allow for a one-hour window from the time of your scheduled cleaning. This is to allow for any delays due to traffic and other unforeseen events. Our cleaners will notify you once they are 30 minutes away and once they’ve arrived.
